What is Good Til?

Good Til is a warranty tracking app. You add your purchases, attach receipt photos, and it keeps track of warranty deadlines for you. When something breaks, it helps you file a claim.

How does receipt scanning work?

Take a photo of your receipt and upload it. AI reads it — in any language — and extracts the store name, purchase date, items, and prices. You review the result and save. No manual typing.

What is the Claim Assistant?

When a product breaks within warranty, Good Til generates a formal complaint letter with your purchase details and a reference to the relevant consumer protection law in your country. You can copy it, download as PDF, or send it by email.

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan lets you track up to 5 purchases with manual entry and basic reminders. That’s enough to try it out and see if it’s useful for you.

What does Pro include?

Pro costs $1.99/month (or €1.99) and adds unlimited purchases, AI receipt scanning, the Claim Assistant, and email receipt import. Every Pro subscription starts with a 7-day free trial.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel from the Premium page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period, then you revert to the free plan. No data is deleted.

What languages are supported?

The app interface is available in English and German. Receipt scanning works with receipts in any language — German, Japanese, French, Arabic, and many more.

How do warranty reminders work?

When you add a purchase with a warranty period, Good Til sends you reminders at 90 days, 30 days, and 7 days before expiry. That gives you time to inspect the product and file a claim if needed.

How does email receipt import work?

Each account has a unique email address shown on your Purchases page (e.g. [email protected]). Forward a receipt or order confirmation email to that address. Good Til receives it, reads the email and any attachments using AI, and creates a purchase automatically — including store name, date, price, and warranty. You get a confirmation email when it’s done. You can forward from any email address. This is a Premium feature.

Is my data secure?

Your receipts and purchase data are stored securely and are only accessible to you. We don’t share your data with third parties. Receipt images are processed for text extraction and not stored by the AI provider.

What consumer laws does the Claim Assistant reference?

It depends on your country. For EU countries, it references EU Directive 2019/771 (Sale of Goods), which gives you a 2-year legal guarantee. For other regions, it adapts to local consumer protection laws.
