How Good Til uses AI to process your data
1. How We Use AI
Good Til uses AI to help you manage purchases and warranties more efficiently. AI is used in two key areas:
- Receipt scanning: When you upload a receipt image, AI extracts text and structured data (item names, prices, dates, store information) to automatically populate your purchase records.
- Claim letter generation: When you file a warranty claim, AI generates a draft letter based on your purchase details, warranty terms, and the issue you describe.
2. Data Handling
Your receipt images and purchase data are sent to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) for processing. Data is transmitted securely via encrypted connections and is processed only to fulfill your specific request.
Good Til does not use your data to train AI models. We do not retain your data beyond what is necessary to provide the service. Our AI providers process API requests under terms that prohibit using inputs for model training.
3. AI Output Disclaimer
Important: AI-generated outputs — including extracted receipt data and claim draft letters — may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI output before relying on it, especially claim letters sent to retailers or manufacturers.
4. What AI Cannot Access
AI processing is stateless and request-scoped. The AI:
- Does not have access to your account or other users’ data
- Does not remember previous requests or build a profile
- Only processes the specific data you submit in each request
5. Transparency
All features that involve AI processing are clearly identified in the interface. We are committed to transparency about how AI is used within the platform and comply with applicable EU AI Act requirements.
